‼️IImportant Practice Update - COVID-19 08/04/20 ‼️

From Monday 6th April we will be changing the way the practice operates due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

This means that all routine appointments will now take place at Llanfyllin main surgery and Llanrhaeadr branch surgery.

All urgent triaged appointments will now be offered at Four Crosses branch surgery. If you had a routine appointment booked for Four Crosses surgery this week we will have contacted you either by telephone or letter.  We continue to separate out our urgent and routine work to ensure as much as possible we are protecting our elderly and vulnerable patients.

 Appointments

If you are concerned you may have been affected by Coronavirus please go to the NHS Wales online symptom checker and only phone 111 if you are advised to do so.

All calls for appointments in the practice continue to be triaged. Please do not attend any of our surgeries without speaking to a clinician first.

Our trained receptionists will answer all calls initially and ask for a brief description of the problem. This is very important as it is needed to ensure you are directed to the most appropriate member of the practice team. A clinician will then telephone you back to discuss your request further with you and offer an appointment if appropriate.

If you are offered a routine appointment at Llanfyllin or Llanrhaeadr and you feel unwell on the day of your appointment YOU MUST NOT attend your appointment. Please phone our dedicated cancellation line and leave your message to cancel on 01691 649293📞

Minor Injuries Service

The minor injuries service remains open in Llanfyllin. This service operates between 8am and 18.30pm Monday to Friday. Please follow the signs at the front entrance of Llanfyllin surgery to direct you.
